Kirk, Kendall and Keaton’s oldest brother, is passionate about the outdoors. His passion grew from hunting quail, pheasants, deer, and running a large trapline on the family’s farm in Iowa. His professional hunting career began in 1985 when he moved from the Iowa farm to the deserts of the Southwest US, becoming one of the top outfitters and guides in Arizona, New Mexico, and “Old Mexico”.
In 2007, Kirk was honored by Sarafi Club International and named their North American Professional Outfitter of the Year.
“Kirk’s hunting career has led him across the globe in search of top prizes. He has collected all but the Rhino for his Big Five and all but the Stone Sheep for his Grand Slam. He has hunted across the US as well as Canada, collecting more than 120 different species.
His international experience includes hunts in Mexico, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, Cameroon, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Spain, Mallorca, Argentina and Brazil.
Keaton joined Kendall in opening K&K Outfitters in 1998, working part-time guiding on the weekends until 2005 when he went full-time guiding and helping run the business. In 1998, Kendall and his brother Keaton started K&K Outfitters, guiding hunters from around the United States, Mexico, and Canada to impressive trophies.
